San Sebastian massive protest against the arrests ordered by Garzon

Thousands of people demonstrated, since shortly after five o’clock, the streets of San Sebastian in response to the call of ELA, LAB, ESK, STEE-EILAS, EHNE and HIRU to protest the arrests in the operation on 13 October against the supposed new leadership of Batasuna. Members of the nationalist left the historic Rufi Etxeberria, arrested in the raid and released after appearing before Judge Baltasar Garzon, Tasio Erkizia or Jone Goirizelaia, representatives of that environment in community institutions such as the mayor still Hernani Marian Beitialarrangoitia, have backed the call.
