The American actress Brittany Murphy, star of films like “Eight” or “Clueless”, died today of cardiac arrest at age 32, according to website TMZ.

Fire Department sources of the city of Los Angeles reported to the page at 0800 local time (16.00 GMT) emergency services received a call from the home of Murphy and her husband, British screenwriter Simon Monjack.
She was transferred to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where despite attempts to revive him and he died.

Born in 1977 in Atlanta (Georgia), Murphy grew up with his mother in New Jersey. From the age of nine appeared in local theater and at 13 he auditioned for television commercials. In 1991 he won a role in the Blossom series this was followed a few movies and miniseries.
It started in the theater with the 1995 film Clueless Youth, an adaptation of the classic Emma (Jane Austen), alongside Alicia Silverstone. One year after the drama began with Freeway, violent film in which she played a prisoner with mental problems.

However, it is best known for comedy commercial films as Just Married or Nanny to force.
He has worked with actors like Michael Douglas (not a word) or Winona Ryder (Girl, Interrupted), winning the respect of critics.
In 2005 he participated in the movie Sin City. In the same year he participated in “The Magic Book” opposite Aaron Eckhart, Nick Nolte, Jessica Lange and Ian McKellen.
During his last years he lived in Los Angeles, and was engaged to actor Ashton Kutcher, with whom he worked in the movie Just Married.
